The Annual Fund is the unsung hero of the budget. It stands apart from other gifts because it is available for immediate use, allowing the dean to proactively bring new ideas to life and to deepen the programs we already offer. There is not an aspect of life at Columbia SPS that the Annual Fund does not touch and make better. Your support of the Annual Fund has an immediate impact allowing us to be responsive in real time to a rapidly changing educational environment.
Equity in Education
SPS is committed to providing access to the best and brightest students regardless of circumstance. Consider supporting our HBCU Fellowship Fund, SPS CUNY Fellowship Fund, Diversity Equity Inclusion and Accessibility Fund, or Wealth Management Advancing Diversity Fellowship that provide full tuition support for exceptional applicants. Our newly launched Career Catalyst Internship Program provides justice system-impacted young New Yorkers with work experience that prepares them for sustained employment.
Empower Early Learners
The Pre-College Fund and the Youth in STEM Fund offer fully-funded scholarships and related support to local high school students from underrepresented communities, providing them with the opportunity to spend an enriching summer on campus. Participants can select from over 70 courses across various subjects, collaborate with like-minded peers from around the globe, and engage in college success events designed to equip them for the challenges of university life. This transformative experience not only fosters academic growth but also encourages personal development and lifelong connections, empowering students to reach their full potential and inspiring them to pursue higher education.
