HOURLY CHALLENGES

UNLOCK CHALLENGE
Come together with fellow Columbians—classmates, colleagues, family, and friends—to make a collective impact through Columbia Giving Day. For every 100 gifts a school, program, or cause receives, additional challenge funds will be unlocked.
CHAMPION CHALLENGE
If you sign up to be a Giving Day Champion, you will receive a unique URL to spread the word about Giving Day with your friends, family, and classmates. Every Giving Day gift made through that unique URL counts toward the Champion Challenge, which will award five Champions who secure the most gifts through their unique URL. The top five Champions will choose which fund they would like to contribute prize winnings to. Sign up to be a champion today.
NEW DONOR CHALLENGE
To ensure Columbia’s students, faculty, and researchers can continue changing the world, increased participation each Giving Day is essential. Every gift from a new donor will be matched and go to the school, program, or cause they support, encouraging new participation across units.
DAYLONG CHALLENGES
The daylong challenges run throughout Giving Day and are awarded at the end of the day, once the criteria have been met, or a few days post-Giving Day, once results are finalized. We’ll be adding exciting new daylong challenges—stay tuned for more details!
