Why Does Columbia Wrestling Need My Support?
We are fortunate to have endowments that offset University costs for coaching salaries, but those endowments do not cover operating expenses to run the program annually. We rely solely on gifts from friends, families, and alumni to travel for competition, buy gear, pay tournament fees, and recruit future wrestlers to join our pride, to name a few. Funds raised through Columbia Giving Day enable our men to continue training and competing at the highest level so they can chase their goals of becoming Ivy League and NCAA champions.
