Contributions from Columbia Volleyball supporters help fulfill programmatic expenses for the upcoming year above and beyond our central University support. Those gifts are critical in meeting our operational budget needs, including travel, equipment, nutrition, and resources to support our student-athletes. Where do your dollars go? To all the extra things that help us celebrate and grow our family: alumni events, team dinners, swag, senior night and gifts, official visits for recruits, exciting pre-season competition tournaments, and assistant salaries.
We were recently approved for a second full-time assistant position, which directly benefits our athletes and improves our competitive advantage with respect to recruiting. A portion of our funds also go to the Success Through Well-being initiative, which provides tutors, sports psychologists, a nutritionist, and our career development staff.
