Why Does Columbia Squash Need My Support?
To our alumni, family, and friends of Columbia squash, we want to thank you for all the support you have given us over the years. We are excited to get back on court for the 2024-2025 season, marking our 15th year as a varsity program. Eighty-five percent of our program's funding comes from annual fundraising, which means that without your support, we would not have varsity squash at Columbia!
How Will I Make an Impact?
As the teams prepare for the season, our goal is to put ourselves in a position to compete against the best teams in college squash. We will do this by working hard, committing to the process, and embracing the challenges each match brings. Your support means that we can give each student-athlete the resources they need to be successful on campus and on the road. Your gift will help us:
• Provide the highest quality squash equipment including shoes, bags, grips, and string
• Broadcast all home matches live via PlaySight Streaming technology
• Provide post-game meals for all home and away matches
• Travel with coach buses equipped with wifi for players to be able to work
• Support our student-athlete nutrition program
• Provide Nike practice and match uniforms
• Recruit domestically and internationally to find the next generation of Lions
We believe we have everything we need at Columbia University to compete for Ivy League and National titles. Competing for titles requires us to do everything at the highest level possible and your contributions will support this mission. Thank you!
