Why Does Columbia Softball Need My Support?
Welcome to the Columbia Softball Giving Day page! We are already training to make sure that TEAM26 hits the ground running once we step on the field this spring. We can't express how excited we are! Last year had some challenges from a fundraising stand point and we are looking to rebound going into this academic year and season. We hope that you will continue to support us as we vie for an Ivy League championship! We can't do it without YOUR support! As we continue to chase an Ivy League title, we encourage you to AGAIN or for the first time, support our Softball program.
How Will I Make an Impact?
Columbia Giving Day is a HUGE day for us! Your support throughout the year and especially on Giving Day helps to move this program forward. Not only does your financial support help to supplement our annual budget but it also allows us to work on special enhancements and potential larger projects. Listed below are a few of the goals and projects that we have had and currently are working on:
• Purchasing of the newest technology and equipment
• Purchasing a new scoreboard
• Planning team-building activities and leadership training (ropes course, etc.)
• Enhancing our recruiting budget
• Endowing coaching positions (head and assistant coaches)
We would like to thank each one of you for contributing to the success of our program. Together we will continue to make the program better than when we got here!
