Columbia Global Centers | Paris

Driving Our Purpose

This Giving Day, you can directly impact the work we do at Columbia Global Centers | Paris.

Located at Reid Hall, the oldest and most vibrant center in France for French-American academic and cultural exchanges, the Paris Center engages faculty, students, and alumni across borders and disciplines to address the most urgent challenges facing our world today.

Academic programs are at the heart of the Paris Center, reflecting Columbia's historic commitment to the value of a global educational experience at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. We also engage Columbia students and faculty in intensive seminars and workshops, and offer a truly impressive array of webinars, lectures, roundtables, concerts, and films, all open to the public free of charge. Drawing over 10,000 participants yearly, our events connect artists, academics, entrepreneurs, advocacy groups, NGOs, professional associations, and cultural institutions. Especially popular are our debate and conversation series in partnership with campus affiliates like the Alliance, European Institute, Maison française, and local organizations such as the Bibliothèque nationale de France, the Musée d’Orsay, and the American Library in Paris.

From Research to Impact

Columbia Giving Day is a time where members of the Columbia community like you can directly support our commitment to:

-Need-based summer fellowships for undergraduate students
-Scholarships for unpaid internships
-Student travel for research projects at other global centers and in the region
-Initiatives supporting local student engagement with our Center
-Public programming

Your contribution* will allow our Center to foster meaningful educational and research opportunities for students, while enhancing the impact and reach of our public events.
